The cache is located within 10 ft. of the trail.
Please do not trespass on the neighbors' property!

This cache was hidden in memory of my friend Mike Krieger who died on August 4, 2010.

Mike was a geocacher who went by the name of Nimmo.

He got his first and only FTF at this location when the cache was called "Down By The River".

He lived only a block away so he was able to get here soon after the cache was published.

Nimmo

In July of 2009, Nimmo asked me if I wanted to go geocaching with him.
I hadn't heard of the sport before but he said he'd teach me.
Well, I got hooked! Since we both had 2 daughters who liked to cache, we went caching together many times.

Nimmo and his family moved back to Hammond, Wisconsin (near Hudson) in February of 2010. He came back occasionally and we went caching together for the last time in June of 2010.

He got pancreatitis in July and was recovering in the University of Minnesota hospital. I called him at the hospital on July 25, 2010 and said: "Guess what?" He said: "You found your 1000th cache?"
I said: "Yes". Then he said: "I've created a monster!" We both laughed.

That was the last time that I spoke with my friend. A few days later he died on the operating table during a routine surgical procedure.
He was 39 years old. He left a wife and 2 young daughters.

I lost a great friend but I am certain that one day I will see him again...

Hey Nimmo. This one's for you!

Congratulations to TPride and neonride93 for their co-FTF on 9/5/10.
