Geocache Description:

Using the above coordinates meet at the tailgate of my truck, just look for geocaching flags hanging from my side windows and a big pirate one hanging from the back topper hatch, we will take 15 mins to do any TB/Geocoin discoveries, catch up with old friends and make a few new ones. Hand over your toll receipts aka (log sheets) then we will walk over to the big tent to plan the trash clean-up efforts.

Attention all fellow geoachers!! I'm looking volunteers of all ages ( at least old enough that can pick up litter ) to join me in a Coastal Cleanup on July. 10, 2010 in Fort De Soto park from 8:45 am to 12:00 pm. This will be my first time hosting an CITO geoevent.
This clean-up event will be both a land and sea-based effort. Please feel free to bring your kayak or canoe if you wish to participate in the water-based clean-up! A little blue birdy told me that a TV station crew might be in our cleaning area, so lets show them how we geocachers care about our parks and beaches!

What To Bring:
closed-toe or water shoes, hat, some kind of garden or work gloves, sunscreen, bug spray, water, and a picker-upper for trash if you happen to have one

NOTE

It was noted on a website that trash bags, latex gloves, sunscreen & water will be provided.
In route to Fort DeSoto Park there will be a 50 cent toll on the Pinellas Bayway you will have to pass thru to reach the event. please ask for a toll receipt when you go thru, then when you get to the event sign your name to that slip for that will be your log sheet for this event. If you're car pooling.. have all the riders in that vehicle sign that one slip. and put an asterisk sign ( * ) next to the one who paid the toll fee so I know.
(Shhhh...It's a secret I can't tell you now)
