This is a series of seven caches.
The series is set along a country lane, which is only used by the odd car. The lane is narrow in places, and there are not many passing places. One of the best places to park is near N51 31.940 W001 51.850. There is enough room for two or three cars here. The best and easiest way of doing the series is on foot or push bike.
For anyone who has not read the Harry Potter Books.
A HORCRUX was an every day item, where the evil Lord Voldemort placed part of his soul, so splitting himself into seven parts and he could only be killed when all seven were destroyed.
The caches we have set out were inspired by this storyline.
They are evil due to the fact they are all NANO’s. BUT all the NANO’s have been set into other objects. The nature of each object can be found in the hint for the cache. So only use if you want to make the cache easier.
All caches are within 10 meters of the road, apart of one.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT NEEDED.
For these caches you will needed to take with you a wooden cocktail stick. You will need this to get the log sheet in and out of the cache.
Also please take a pencil ONLY (now has water proof log sheet) which some PENS will not write on.
Please sign the log sheet with only your teams INITIALS to save room on the sheet. It should then hold about 30 teams.
SOME ONE HAS DUMPED SOME WOOD AND WHAT I WOULD CLASS AS CLEAN RUBBISH NEAR THE CACHE. YOU CAN STEP AROUND IT OR OVER IT, LIKE I DID. just keep an eye on young geo-kids if you have any with you.
