Every once in a while it is time to return to the basics of geocaching. The ABCs of Geocaching series will test you on your basic skills and maybe stretch you a little bit as well.
I is for Information Signs. Information signs are great ways to create multi-caches and puzzle caches. It is also a great way for geocachers to learn more about the area they are caching in.
After getting to the posted coordinates you will need to find the years posted in the information on the placard.
There are 4 years on the West Virginia side:
1ABC 1DEF 1GHJ 1KLM
There are 3 years on the Rockingham County side:
1NPQ 1RST 1UVW
You will also need to know the sign number:
XYZ
Using this information, you can proceed to the cache:
North BG° M(Z+1). AF(H-1)
