The Cache of the Titans (C.O.T.T.) is a series of 7 expert level caches that will be released each week. They are designed to test your skill, smarts, stamina, and maybe your patience. They will take you to the towns of New Milford, Kent, Gaylordsville, Roxbury, and Washington. These caches are in no way affiliated with the classic movie of a similar name, or the trainwreck of a remake in 2010.
Park at the provided coordinate just before the trailhead. Follow the blue trail up and over and around. Extra care should be taken in wet or icy conditions, these trails can be treacherous in spots. While on the blue trail I’d recommend stopping by Hoof-It’s “Straight Up” if you haven’t done it already (GC123YK). It has the only real scenic view of Gaylordsville along this trail. Once you hit Squash Hollow road, take a left and follow the blue blazes on the guardrail until you see the trail continue on the right. Once you've made the find, you can continue on the blue trail down and past Tory's cave to Rt 7, backtrack to squash hollow and make a right to Rt 7, or completely retrace your steps. No matter your choice, expect a long hike. There was some bounce when placing, so the hints are dead giveaways.
Be sure to check each log book for part of a coordinate to the series final: Olympus.
