Located at the TRADE WIND FIELDS PRESERVE, a great place to walk dogs. Parking is located off County Road. From the parking area, follow the Green Trail to the airstrip. The Red Trail to the left follows around the airstrip to the opposite side. The cache is located in a wooded area off the Red Trail. CAUTION: Look out for low flying airplanes!
Jack's Boomerang cache originated from a walk we took around the preserve, my son was throwing around a boomerang and got it stuck up in a tree. As we spent time trying to knock it out from the tree, I thought- what a good place for a cache! Enjoy and watch out for the four legged muggles.
Update 2018: The MV Land Bank Commission has erected a fence that restricts people from crossing over the fields. Walkers now have to walk around the perimeter of the air field.
