Geocache Description:

Small turnout on the west side of Waterman Canyon Rd.

MORMON ROAD/WATERMAN CANYON ROAD - When the Mormons came to the San Bernardino valley in 1851 they needed suitable lumber to construct their homes and stockade. To bring in lumber from the mountains they built an 11-mile wagon road that required about a thousand days' labor to complete. This 11 mile road went from Waterman Canyon, State Hwy 18 to 0.5 mi W of Crestline. Remember, you must display an Adventure Pass when parking in the San Bernardino National Park. There is some climbing involved here. You don't have to go far from the turn out, but the terrain is somewhat steep, and the footing can be slippery so be careful. You are looking for a Camo Container. WARNING: There is Poison Oak in the area so be careful. Please replace cache as found if not better. Good Luck.....FTF Prize!
