Geocache Description:

Part of our mission to locate and mark all of the corners of the Town of Guilford. Guilford is a six mile square. You will also see that we have placed a cache at the center. Enjoy

This cache is at the SE corner of the town. There is a monument there. This is a long bushwhack in from the Vernon Town Forest on Basin Rd in Vernon. We would strongly recommend that you mark where you park as this is quite a hike in.

4/20/11 - Discovered a slightly easier way to this cache....Take Bald Mountain Road in Bernardston, MA to the gate and park here (without blocking the gate). Follow the better maintained road (through the gate) until you come to an intersection where there is a pond and a metal building. Follow this road until you come to a large clearing. Follow the log road North until you exit the logging area where you will see property markers which mark the State line. Follow your GPS West to the cache. This is over 1.5 miles each way.
