Geocache Description:

This was Cedar Lake Campground, but the owner sold the land back to the state, and now it is part of Bellplaine wildlife refuge. People are allowed to fish, but hunting deer and other wildlife is not supposed to be done on this tract of land. My family camped down here from 1980 until the campground closed in 2000. Many memories were made, and everyone in my family came to love Mom-Mom and Pop-Pops little house. The lake saw many accidents, and few weekends would go by without somone losing control on the bend by the lake. Please respect the buildings as they were part of an old stagecoach line that went to the shore. Park in front of the barn, and be very careful pulling back out onto the road, shore traffic is crazy in the summertime. congrats to wigoweb for ftf
