Treasures of Scouting - GCC - Venturing

This cache is located on the property of Camp Silver Creek and
placed with permission of the camp ranger. You can access this
cache two ways: 1) Take Borden Ranch Road to Camp Silver Creek and
go from there. If there is a group using the camp we ask that you
use the alternate route. 2) This route is a little tougher and will
require 4WD. Take White Mountain Lake Road from Highway 77 to
Woodside Trail and let the adventure begin.
Venturing The Venturing program is unique because it uses extreme
outdoor adventure as the method for building character,
peer-to-peer bonds, and independence. It is open to young men and
women between the ages of 14 and 20. Venturing got it’s start
as a BSA program in 2008 and is the fastest growing program in
scouting. Visit a local crew and you’ll see why.
In addition to this cache, the Grand Canyon Council has hidden
four other caches that highlight the "Treasures of Scouting". You
can locate these caches on geocaching.com in the public bookmark at

After you cross the gate onto the camp property please stay on
existing 4x4 trails. Again, if a camp group is using this area,
please be respectful.
