Geocache Description:

This box is open to all seekers, not only Boy Scouts, so please feel free to hunt and trade this location.

BSA-100 Hybrid box!

This box is planted in honor of 100 years of Boy Scouting in America and the new Merit Badge added to the advancement program this year. This new Merit Badge is for Geo-Caching, bringing another new and growing activity into the Scouting program. We would also hope to introduce the scouts to the older sport of Letterboxing too. So this is a Geo-Cache / Letterbox hybrid that is placed near the local Boy Scout office, here in Huntsville, Alabama on Drake Ave.

“For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has created a strong foundation of leadership, service, and community for America's youth. Through A Year of Celebration, we celebrate this legacy and commit ourselves to inspire and prepare future generations.”

Remember this is a busy location and many people may be out and about as you make your way around this area, so as always be careful as to not bring too much attention to what you are doing and let everybody else find their own way to the prize.

This Geo-Cache started with a list of swag that goes something like this:
5 – bottle / soda can openers
5 – duct tape key chains
1 – sporkif (spoon/fork/knife combo)
1 – Neckerchief
1 – headlamp
1 – book about Geo-Caching
1 – lanyard / carabineer / flashlight - combo
And some more Boy Scout items to be added soon (maybe some old patches).

The letterbox itself and any of its contents, logbook and stamp, are not part of the trade swag and should be kept in the ammo box along with any of its parts that are there. Thanks to all of the seekers of this hidden treasure and we hope that you had fun finding this one.

WTG! Photo finish for the FTF!!! Lets see, earlhop / mtbikedirtygirl / Studzilla were all there at the same time.
