Geocache Description:

A great spot to sip and enjoy the mandatory pre-biking caffeinated beverage while surrounded by the rugged mountainside. Access to the Goose Trail in under 3 minutes via mountain bike from here.
Please check your policy to see if such reckless acts of foolishness are covered by your insurance provider. :)

In all seriousness, leave your bike parked elsewhere for this cache.

Sooke is a natural for experiencing some of the finest mountain biking in Canada and the world. With its terrain, natural beauty and location, Sooke features a year-round temperate climate that makes Vancouver Island one of the most popular tourist destinations in North America. Cycling is possible from January right through to December with countless bike trails to be found just off the Galloping Goose Trail, stretching 60 km from Victoria to Leechtown.

This cache is dedicated to all cyclists young & old, from newbie to grizzled battle-scarred veteran, from tricycle to downhill bomber and all rides between.

Cache is a small Lock n' Lock filled with (wait for it...) cycling swag. Follow the existing flagging tape until cache is to your East. While in the area, why not enjoy the other caches along the way, and enjoy the hike!

FTF incentive is a new beaver micro coin.

Recommended route: From parking lot to Mary Vine Creek trailhead, to CRD flowline, follow pipe to the trail access listed waypoint and up you go.
