"Daddies Train" Traditional Cache
JerEvie: I'm having to shut this down because the people that run the garden asked me to because people keep moving the landscaping around. She said she's tired to replacing it all the time. This was a fun cache with over 500 finds. Thanks to all who searched and found the container.

Evie and I were driving by and saw this train car, so we just had to stop to check it out. We met Jay and Jan Barber who are constructing it to be a garden tool shed when it’s completed. It’s setting in Railroad Community Park Gardens. Garden plots are available for folks to plant a few veggies and etc.
This site is where a train station was located back in the late 40’s and early 50’s. Families from Portland came to Seaside to spend their summers. The wives and children would stay and the husbands would return to Portland where they worked. On Fridays, the husbands would come back to visit their families for the weekend. This train became known as “Daddies Train”.
THERE IS NO NEED TO ENTER THE GARDEN SHED OR DISSEMBLE ANYTHING. ALSO, THERE IS NO NEED TO MOVE ANY LANDSCAPING OR ROCKS.
