Barnack Bimble Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
An easy bimble along a beatufil stretch of river, flat terrain, perhaps unsuitable for wheel chairs as terrain can be a little bumpy and a stile needs to be negotiated at the start.
From the A16 heading toward Stamford turn left at the right hand bend, signposted 'Barnack'. You will see a school to the left called Copthill. Over the little bridge there is parking to the left, although somewhat limited there are various other spots to park along the road. Please mind the traffic, which is minimal, but can be fast!
This is a beautiful and magical little walk of approx 1/2 mile and great for Geodogs looking for a splash amongst the trout.
The cache is a small tupperware box containing: pencil and paper, map gadget and other treasures and a Travel Bug with itchy feet.
