A cache and dash on Bleadon Hillside. The cache is a bit bigger than a film cannister.
A few metres over a bridge and onto a public footpath. Take a minute to enjoy the view...and count how many rabbits you can see!!
If you follow the footpath down it will take you into the historic Bleadon Village where you could stop off for a drink at the Queen's Arms.The original section of this traditional inn is a Mendip cottage dating from the 16th century.
Just to the north of the village is Bleadon Hill, a 13.52 hectare geological Site of Special Scientific Interest.There is evidence the land was used for agriculture during the medieval period, and possibly even Roman times.
Not suitable for wheelchairs due to steps
