Caching Cajun Style
So, one day,
this group of friends gets to talking about a power trail they had
heard about. "Wouldn't it be fun if we went down to New Orleans and
did the trail together. We could save a bit of money by splitting
the cost. Let's do it."
The plan
began simply enough and took 3 months of working on coordinating
days off with 5 caching teams. Once they day was selected, we all
piled into the van and headed south.
What a better
way to commemorate our travels than with the name of the series
that lead us to the most awesome adventure 6 people, 5 team,s could
have together than to make a tribute series. The whole trip had us
in a van for 5 days, Fortunately this series won't take five days,
but it did take us 5 hours to place.
We used the
same type of containers that were used in the Hang Em High series,
so if have done the power trail, this will be a hint for you. The
hides are easy, but the walks to them are a little harder than the
original series.
A very
special thanks to Bambozzle and Short Circut for inspiring us to
head to their state and complete their series with a lot of help
from them.
