Geocache Description:

Come on out and pitch in to clean up this nice little camping and 4wheeling spot. The locals do a pretty decent job with it several times a year but more is better when it comes to CITO right?

We will begin at High Noon at the posted cords and proceed to make this a better place for all Alaskans.

Please bring gloves or any other trash picking devices you may have.

Come early or stay late to pick up a few of the nearby caches in the area.

Take the Glenn Highway North through Palmer just a few more miles to Mile 53. Turn LEFT at the well marked intersection for Buffalo Mine Road.

Head down Buffalo Mine Road a couple miles until the paved surface ends. You can walk the additional .2 miles to ground zero or turn RIGHT and drive the gravel road in. The road is a little bumpy but even small cars and mini vans should have no problems here.

There will be plenty of cool, refreshing drinks on hand and prizes for several catagories of CITO prowess as well as participation.

There will be a GeoBash Campout here the evening of July 10th. Come early, pitch a tent and collect a pair of icons while having a great time with fellow cachers.
