TK08 Salisbury River Bridges – Heavy Lifting II

A small series set on various bridges across some of the five rivers that flow by or through the city of Salisbury in Wiltshire. Some of these bridges are picturesque others are just functional but they do have a nano-cache hidden on the bridge or close to it.
You are looking for a small nano-cache containing a log-book hidden upon or close to the bridge. Please bring your own pencil. Remember nano-caches can be quite difficult to find so just keep searching.
Stealth may be required while accessing this cache.
Please retrieve this cache very carefully and then return it to the magnetic spot as carefully as possible for it will not stick anywhere else on the bridge.
This cache is accessible by wheelchair.
This little footbridge crosses the river Avon at the point where it enters the lovely Queen Elizabeth Gardens where eventually the water course widens out into a large shallow area with a small island in which children and adults play in during the summer months. This bridge so can be easily accessed from the city centre and is a 0.37 mile walk from the market place.
Pay & Display parking is available at Central car park N 51° 04.320 W 001° 47.945, New Street multi-storey car park N 51° 04.032 W 001° 47.699 or the nearest at Crane Bridge Road car park N 51° 04.084 W 1° 47.996 but I would recommend using one of the many Park & Ride areas on the outskirts of Salisbury.
After finding this cache why not walk across the nearby park and down the ‘Town Path’ to pick up ‘TK05 Wiltshire Persona – Salisbury Cathedral’ (GC2ADR6) by Tek_Kaz or ‘View from the Bishop’s Garden’ (GCK3D8) by Rosie & Co.
