With permission from the property's owners, this cache was placed to call attention to yet another beautiful spot in Galena, Illinois. We travelled here from Washington State to visit family and friends in the area and Carmine and Cheryl were enthusiastic about the idea of a cache being put here.
This should be an easy find, but take a look at the pond, gazebo and grounds if you have a chance, they're really beautiful. No need to trample shrubery or gardens in your search and please be respectful to not cache too early in the morning or late at night or when there might be a wedding taking place. There's a nice FTF prize courtesy of the owners. We're also restarting one of our travel bugs that was lost in a muggled cache in 2009, just days after we placed it a little north of here in Wisconsin. Have fun!!
