Wedding Cache Traditional Cache

The Wedding Cache was placed near another virtual cache (GC8254). Located on Hwy 50 North along the east shore of Lake Tahoe. Elevation 6439 Feet. Easy turnout along the highway with enough parking for an RV at the Logan Shoals Vista Point Area. There is a paved path leading from the parking lot to the lake. Off the paved path is a small dirt path leading to the lake shore where the north side of Lake Tahoe can be seen. Bring good shoes and enjoy the view.
On March 17, 2009 I was matched with my now Bride on eharmony. On the first day we met, I picked her up from the Reno-Tahoe Airport and we drove straight to Lake Tahoe where we took our first picture on the North Shore. After five months of flying long distances to see eachother she moved to Northern California. On January 30, 2010 I proposed to her during a private snowmoblie tour at the top of Spooner Summit. We couldn't have had more perfect weather and a better view of Lake Tahoe.So we only thought it fitting to get married on the East Shore of Lake Tahoe in a place that has come to mean so much to us. On June 19, 2010 we were married at the Vista Point at Logan Shoals overlooking the lake with 35 of our closest family and friends in attendance. We hid the wedding cache the morning of our wedding at the vista point facing the north shore of Lake Tahoe so we could remember our first date.
Inside the Wedding cache we placed the following items.
1) Police Pin
2) blue stone egg
3) toy volleyball
4) Stone with "LOVE" engraved on it
5) Anniversary Travel Bug

The Cache Container is a tupperware container with a blue lid. Sign the log book and the FTF gets the Anniversary Travel Bug.
