Brief hike to a bench and tarn in willow creek valley
GO through the pass and turn toward willow after the gate at the first pull off after the gate park and start heading uphill on a trail to the obvious bench. Find this cache above the pond on the summit of the bench. under a bonsai like willow tree. Note along the way numerous wildflowers, hens and chick plants, inteesting lichen, a beaver, woodfrogs in the pond and a small hawk of some kind. Clear plastic container, pencil and log.
