Geocache Description:


Are you looking for a challenge? Do you need the “5” terrain with a little difficulty thrown in too? Are you prepared to get wet? Are you allergic to poison ivy?

You must have a kayak, canoe or tube to gain access to the Rogue River island cache series. This series will take you from Rockford to the Grand River via the Rogue River. These caches are not accessible from the White Pine Tail or other streets near the river. Do not attempt to cut through the nearby neighborhoods.

Each of the caches in this series are on an island within the Rogue River and are high enough to be winter friendly and to be high enough to stay dry should the river rise to flood levels (I think)
There might be a small amount of bushwhacking on the island depending on where you anchor your kayak, canoe or tube. Watch out for poison ivy.

You could also be up to $3000 richer on each cache should you be the FTF.
