This is a short multi located at Marrs Beach.
One of the first ships to anchor here was Supply in August 1859, this area was known then as South Spit, and South Spit Lagoon.
Around 1866 ferries crossed the river to Westport, George Craddock was one of the earliest watermen and conveyed passengers across the river for one shilling each. By 1867 several hotels had sprung up at Sth Spit among them was the Waterman's Arms Hotel, which George Craddock was the proprietor for some time, there was also livery stables and a school.
The cache is a 200ml sistema container with log and pencil.
The published coordinates take you to the memorial plaque where you gather information to find the final cache, which is within easy walking distance.
The final cache is at S41 44.ABC E171.35.DEF.
