Special Agent Intrepid,
I have your next assignment. It is a matter of urgent importance. CSIS has been tailing a suspected spy for several months and collecting evidence. Early this morning our agents made their move to apprehend the suspect. When they burst into the apartment he was no where to be found and had somehow slipped through the surveilance net. A thorough search of the aparment didn't turn up much. Suprisingly there were no electronic devices, no laptop, smart phone, or camera, essentail tools of the trade. The following note, which is obviously a cipher of some type was found.

There were a couple other items of interet. There was a deck of 52 cards and 2 jokers strewn across the dining room table as if they had been flung in a hurry. There was also a copy of Doyle Brunson's "Super System". Inside the back cover was what appear to be a bridge hand description. I've included some pictures and the bridge hand for your analsys.
We need you to investigate this and try to pick up the suspect's trail. Although we are uncertain of his nationality we should assume that he is no amateur. Assume he is dangerous and watch your back when you're in the field.
This spy represents a grave national security threat. I can't tell you what secrets he has stolen. You don't have the need to know. However, this case has been brought to the attention of the Prime Minister so status updates on your progress will be appreciated.
