This is a fairly level walk however the terrain is set high due to mud, slippery bog bridges and a slightly overgrown trail. Proper footwear and long pants are a must.
Trailhead is hidden off Rt 113 in Sandwich. Parking is a problem here. Park in the middle of town and walk down to the trailhead or have a geobuddy drop you off. Trailhead is across from a daycare. Use common sense.
This is a beautiful walk out to an old dam. Great spot for birders. Bring binoculars.
