This cache is part of our annual Dad's Day caches developed to help Team Wally's leader enjoy one of his favorite past times. This year we were lucky to have Grandpa join in on the fun!!!
The cache is hidden along a nice trail near the Washougal river. The path is paved, and is wide enough for holding hands!! (There are two entrance points to this trail.) When returning back to the path after finding the cache, check out the view of Mt Hood peaking through the separation in the trees! Wear long pants, or step strategically, and beware of muggles!
Since this cache is dedicated to fathers, we would like you to include a small trinket that reminds you of your father with a write-up about what you included and why. Or, you could post a picture of your dad and add a favorite memory. For our part, we started a travel bug dedicated to Grandpa Wally who just returned to the States after teaching abroad for over 30 years! We also added several plastic army men to represent Team Wally's Dad for his service in the US Army. We are so thankful for the sacrifice and service of both men, and wish all dads out there a very Happy Dad's Day!!
