Geocache Description:

A micro cache near one of Knutsford’s more interesting hidden monuments.

The origin of this 7m high square obelisk with an urn containing flowers/flames on top is now shrouded in mystery. It is thought to have been erected c.1745 as a memorial to the Legh family and/or to commemorate the building of the nearby Booths Hall.
