Geocache Description:

NEW CONTAINER AND LOG PLACED MAY 4, 2013, AND AGAIN ONJUNE 13, 2014. You are looking for a magnetic nano container. The cache will require bending down, which is the only reason the terrain is a 1.5. Part of the higher difficulty rating has to do with your comfort level with the structure you'll be searching.

Bring a pen or pencil - no need to get wet though. Best parking is at 42 22.042, 075 14.680 -- just watch out for freight trains. Enjoy!

All cachers beware: keep all valuables securely in your pockets or hands because if you drop them, they're gone! Please also be careful with the cache container, its cover and the log. AND PLEASE, hide it exactly where it was to avoid muggle detection!!!

Otego is a Native American word meaning "where there is fire." The town was settled in 1775. The railroad was very important to the later development of the area. According to the sign which was fastened way high up until recently, this structure was built in 1886 -- so it's more than 125 years old!

Great job to Softball 29, being the FTF. We both thought it would be you.
