Geocache Description:

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO EDGEWOOD CROSSOVER???
This cache replaces the original Edgewood Crossover cache, by JMBella and my previous Edgewood Crossover Revisited. This is a two part multi. Terrain is mostly level with some sections of moderate elevation. Both parts should be fairly easy finds.

Since the bridge was removed, this cache's final is NOT in the same location as the Crossover caches. I wasn't too happy with making cachers crossover Commack Road, So here we go again!

PLEASE NOTE: For those of you who already visited the original JMBella cache and the revisted cache, in order to earn another smilie,You MUST revisit this cache after it was published/placed, namely after 6-26-10. Any logs here that were not physically visited after that date will be deleted. It's only fair to those who have and/ or will visit it again. No free smilies here. Parking: N40.47.019 W073 18.616 From the original listing by JMBella: This turned out to be an even cooler hike than I anticipated. Park at the recommended coords above at the powerline trailhead. From there it's about .6 to part one. The intersection at Old Commack Rd and Commack Rd looks to be a hair shorter but in my opinion the suggested coords makes for a slightly more interesting hike. From part one to part two is about a .3 mile hike. Just North of part one is a trail that goes West. Take that to another trail that forks off to the right. You'll see exactly what I'm talking about on the topo map. From car to car this will be just short of a 2 mile hike. Part one is a bison tube with the coords to the cache. The cache is a small Lock & Lock with the usual swag. Enjoy! Cache In - Trash Out! Dogs Allowed Available year-round Bicycles permitted on paths. Permit Required. No Offroad Vehicles. Historic Site. More than .5 mile from Trailhead. Here's another chance for another smilie! Enjoy!
