This cache has been archived.

Bunjil: Unfortunately, I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.

Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article here.

Geocache Description:

A simple tradtional in pleasant parkland area to celebrate a friend and community members who are wonderful resource.

This cache was placed to celebrate a special birthday. It was strategically placed a number of months after the birthday and published even later, so that his age will forever remain a secret!
There are many people who take from a community, but fewer who give back. Those who give back and continue to do so for many years, are like rain water - an increasingly scarce resource.
This community bloke, who we shall call "GC" (in geocaching lingo) has served his local community in many ways - Agricultural Bureaux, Catchment Boards, Shear Outback Managment Boards, sporting clubs. He and his wife have built a property to be proud of and raised a family many would envy.
A true " cocky" he collects up bits and pieces, ready for the day they will be "just what is needed". Aware of increasing age, he fills his weekdays with physical work and then walks bushy bend to build stamina. The special birthday was celebrated by walking from home to collect the mail from the post office (about 50kms)
We need more people like GC
Vale!
