Geocache Description:

Bulla Bulling is an Historic railway town built as a watering stop for the steam trains.

Bulla Bulling pub was built in 1898 but it is thought that the town may have been a staging stop before that. There is evidence of tin huts which date back to the first gold discoveries in 1890. The water was pumped out of the dam behind the pub up to the tank which was over near the railway line. The water was then used to fill up the train boilers. The water tank is now in the Beer Garden of the pub. The cache is fairly easy to get to but you will need to be a bit flexible to reach it. (PS Cache was moved to the Rook Pipe in 2023 due to nearby mining and groundwork)
