This traditional cache has been placed at the Recreation Reserve in Stanley.
Stanley is a small town approximately 9 kilometres from Beechworth in North East Victoria and is noted for its apple & nut farms. The town was formerly known as Snake Gully.
Mount Stanley is nearby and is also worth a look as it has some great views and also contains the fire spotting tower.
This cache is a camouflaged 500ml container that contains a log
book, pencil and some nice swaps for the young and the young at heart.
You can drive right into the reserve which has a tennis court, playground, sports oval, toilet and BBQ facilities.
Once you have parked your car, the cache is only a short walk away.
The cache will be quite easy to access but make sure you wear warm clothes during the winter months as it does get quite cold
here and can even snow if you time it just right.
After you have found the cache, please replace it carefully to ensure it is well hidden.
This is a fairly low muggle area but does get busier in the summer months.
