willmere: We took a visit to Hawk Mountain today, the trails have changed since this cache was placed 12 years ago! It's been a great 12 years but we've decided to archive this one. The view at the top is still beautiful. Thanks to all the cachers who found it, we read all the entries in the log book and amazed at all the comments!

Geocache Description:

Parking is at N 44.09.385 W 070.41.759
Our gps used the name Skunk Alley Road for the way to the cache, the street sign uses Hawk Mountain Road.

We'd like more people to come visit and experience these beautiful views. Hawk Mountain is a fairly easy climb, not too steep, with some rocky spots but the elevation is nice and gradual.

There are other caches nearby placed by others (GCGTR6, GC2462N, GC2830K) and this is one on the way to the top. The view from the top is great and a nice spot for a picnic.

This is a lock and lock container and filled with kid friendly goodies.
