While out following my car GPS to Beaver Bucket,on August 5, 2009
last year, yes you heard it, last year, my route took me to this
back road. This did not seem like the place I needed to be but I
followed it anyway. On the way I found this spot with a view of the
valley below. I said to myself, self, I think I should place a
cache here so others can check out this nice view. So I placed a
cache here on August 5, 2009. I called a friend way back then and
gave him the coordinates over the phone since I am real good at
loosing them. Well as it turned out he saved them on his computer.
When I wanted them for publishing his computer crashed and they
were lost. awwwww
Today I was in the area for the Armstrong
event and decided to head here again to grab the coordinates. It
was not problem, I just routed my car GPS for Beaver Bucket and I
was off to the same spot. I was not even sure if the cache would
still be there. It was and I grabbed the coordinates and am FINALLY
publishing this one.
I just had to put a cache here so others
may enjoy this wonderful view. I like places by the water. This one
is not actually by the water but there is water below and boats and
well, you will see. I hope you like the view. Let me know what you
