The above coordinates will take you to a sign with historical and technical information about the lighthouse. The sign is located near the headquarters in Point Beach State Forest. This is an active lighthouse and is only available for viewing from a distance. It can be seen from this location and also from the trail that leads to the beach.
To get the coordinates for the final add A to the seconds of the north coordinates and add B to the seconds for the west coordinates.
A = the height of the lighthouse.
B = the number of miles away it can be seen from.

A Trail Pass is not required to hike or bike in the park, but the State Forest is a fee area and an annual sticker or daily admission pass is required.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Guy Willman of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.
