The High Road cache is the sister cache to ‘The Low Road’ GC2AJ9D, and is on Forest Road 2N40 (Cloudland Truck Trail) and intersects with Highway 18. 2N40 is also accessible from Badger Canyon Road from the south. The gate was open during placement but there are times when vehicle access is not permitted. We don’t have a 4WD and we had no problem along this road. There is a very nice parking spot…I call it “Lover’s Lookout”…the view is awesome! Remember, when parking in the San Bernardino National Forest an Adventure Pass must be displayed ($5.00 daily or $30.00 per year).

The High Road is a camo container, filled with awesome SWAG! There is something for everyone and well worth the drive. The cache is approximately 90’ from the parking area. Remember to keep an eye out for wildlife and pokey plants. I really enjoy places like this that I would’ve never experienced before had it not been for the game, sport of Geocaching.
