Geocache Description:

We placed this cache after a great day out celebrating "Daddy"s birthday.
Enjoy this stunning area.

Park at the layby next to the Klippies Bay Day Visitor entrance.

Situated in the Kogelberg Nature Reserve, a short walk up a management track, turn left and cross the bridge to find the cache.

If you are stopped by the reserve staff, let them know you are geocaching. The manager is aware of the cache. A new walking trail is currently being prepared in the area and is due to open in October 2010.

This area forms part of the greater Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve and is managed by the City of Cape Town's Biodiversity Management branch. The area is one of 23 reserve managed by the City. Others in the area include, Helderberg Nature Reserve, Harmony Flats and Silverboomkloof.
