Zygi
Zygi is probably the most known and reputable fisherman's village
in Cyprus and it is about time a cache is placed here. There are
many professional fishermen in the village and as many amateurs.
Large quantities of fish are absorbed by the seafood restaurants
that operate in the community. There is a fish tavern on every
corner so no need to go hungry for long. Just be aware that the
village gets very busy on weekends!
At the time of placing the cache, a new multi-million€ marina
is being constructed. The Zygi marina will comprise up to 175
berths, along with all the necessary amenities and the construction
is to be completed in September 2010.
When the marina is finished I will look into upgrading the size of
the cache but for the time being with all the work going on I felt
a nano is most appropriate.
Bring a pen or pencil to log and please replace exactly where you
find it so hopefully it won’t be muggled.
