Are we all sitting around 'these days' watching too much TV, spending too many hours playing video games or playing on the computer? Whatever happened to reading??
Reading is good for you and everyone you know. Most of us learn to read in grade one - just watch a six year old as they read their first little book and see the sparkle in their eyes. Where did your sparkle go? Reading helps everyone to learn, to grow, and to experience travel and adventure any time of the day or night.
Locally 'Raise-a Reader' and 'Literacy Alberni' work hard to encourage reading by people of all ages. Books can be expensive, we all know this - however, this cachng series can help ease that concern.
Each cache in this series is placed no more than an arm's length from free, simple reading material for everyone. This reading material is changed weekly. Visit your favorite site often. At each cache you must collect a clue to the final cache site where a great variety of reading material is available and again it is all free for you to use. Your final destination is sure to have something to put he sparkle back in your eyes.
