Are we all spending too much time watching TV, too much time playing video games, or playing on the computer? What ever happened to reading??
Reading is good for you and every one you know. Most of us learn to read in grade one - just watch a six year old read their first little book and see the sparkle in their eyes. Where did your sparkle go? Reading helps everyone to learn, to grow, to experience travel and adventure any time of the day or night. Locally 'Raise-a-Reader' and 'Literacy Alberni' work to promote reading by people of all ages. Books can be expensive, we know this - however this caching series can help ease that concern
Each cache in this series is placed no more that an arm's length from free, simple reading material for everyone. This material is replaced and updated weekly. You can visit your favorite site often.
At each cache you visit you must collect a clue to help you find the final cache location where a great variety of reading material is available - and again it is all free for you to use. Your final destination is sure to have something to put the sparkle back in your eyes.
