This series is intended to give you a tour of the rural roads of the Alberni Valley, enjoy the views. There are no difficult hides in this series.
Are we all sitting around 'these days' spending too much time playing video games or playing on the comuter or spending too much time watching TV?? What ever happened to reading??
Reading is good for you and everyone you know. Most of us learn to read in grade one - just watch a six year old read their first lttle book and see the sparkle in their eyes. Where did your sparkle go? Reading helps everyone to learn, to grow, to experience travel and adventure any time of the day or night. Locally 'Raise-a Reader' and "Literacy Alberni' work hard to encourage reading by people of all ages,especially children. Books can be expensive, we know this - however this caching series can help ease that concern.
Each cache in the series is placed about an arm's length away from free, simple reading material available to everyone. This is updated and replaced weekly so you can visit your favorite site often, if you wish.
At each cache you visit you must make note of the clue so you can find the final cache location where a great variety of reading material is presented for your use..and you can use it free. Your final destination is sure to have something that will put the sparkle back in your eyes.
