The spot offers a great view of the Oyster River Estuary, keep your eyes peeled for Great Blue Herons and Bald Headed Eagles. Cache is an 8" x 6" camo'd Lock&Lock. Interesting gift for 1st (or subsequent) finder as well as other trinkets.
Cache is off to the side of one of the rough trails which, along with many well developed trails, adorn this park. The hide is back from the river - it is not in amongst the piles of roots & trees that the river has carried well into the bushes.
This cache is one of a few in a small but lovely riverside & sea-side park that features great trails, a few bridges, many big trees, the estuary, open beaches and much, much more. There are signs describing the natural surroundings – a great walk for persons of all ages. There is an R.V. park across on the other side of the river from the hide so keep your eyes peeled for muggles.
