The "Fear Factor...Live!" 2010
Geocaching Event: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM




Come one, come all to the Second Annual "Fear Factor... Live!" Geocaching Event. This event is being held with Park Permission at John Rudy County Park in the Songbird Pavilion Area. 2 pavilions have been rented for this years event. There are 2 sets of playground equipment for kids of all ages, a beach volleyball court, 3 horseshoe pits and bathroom facilities are nearby. Electricity is provided and there are many grills on site for cooking. There are plenty of picnic tables but we recommend that you bring your own lawn chairs for additional seating. We had over 200 attendees last year and are expecting even more this year!

The Fear Factor Games!

This, however, is not your normal geocaching event. In addition to the normal meet and greet, this event will include the "Fear Factor Games". If you think that you will be expected to perform crazy stunts and eat things that would make a billy-goat puke... you're right! If you know the TV Show, you know what to expect! There will be a registration table for the brave souls who wish to participate in the games where they will be required to sign a release form in order to play. Prizes will be awarded to the Fear Factor Champion and the specific game winners.
2009 "Bobbing for Body Parts"

You do not have to participate in the "Fear Factor Games" in order to come to this event. In fact... we need extra helpers to be judges, officials and photographers of the many games that will be taking place.

But that's not all...

It's also a Picnic! Hamburgers and Hot dogs will be provided but everyone will be expected to bring a dish to share. Please email me with what you will bring.


A local Geocaching Web-store has also agreed to set up a table to sell all kinds of geocaching equipment, shirts and other swag items as well as special "Fear Factor Gear" which we have designed for this event.


There will be a Craft Table for children of all ages to make their own geocaches.

There will be a Discovery Table for the displaying and trading of Geocoins and Travel Bugs.


There will be a Most Creative Cache Contest that will be judged by your fellow geocachers.


There will be a Chinese Auction of various geocaching items in addition to a Geo-Bingo Raffle.


We're adding a 50-50 Raffle. Proceeds to go to pay for the event.

There will be a Horseshoe Tournament for those individuals who are not into the "Fear Factor Games."


In addition to the event festivities, John Rudy County Park has many ammenities which include... VolleyBall, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Horseshoes and of course... Geocaching!

So mark your calendars for Sunday, September 5th and be sure to come for the whole day and we'll see if...
