****THIS IS ON A COALITION FORCE BASE AND REQUIRES CREDENTIALS TO ENTER****
This will be a little ”tour-DK” to show a little bit of the Danish camps. Camp Viking and Camp Midgaard.
To be precise, only Camp Viking. Camp Midgaard contains only livingquarters, and a little training facility.
The tour will start with the gate of Camp Viking at N31º50.679 E064º12.147
Stop here and count letters on the word that is carved into the portal. Not on the sign saying “Camp Viking”.
The number of letters, of the word, is “A”
Use this formula and move to the next location: N 31º50.655 E064º12.x (x=186+A).
You should now be in front of our church-tent.
In this tent there are a service every Sunday evening.
Here you must count the letters on the bell hanging beside it, the number of letters, is “B”.
Use this formula and move to the next location: N 31º50.6x (x=20+A) E064º12.18y (y=B).
You should now be in front of the YMCA. It's meant to be sanctuary and a break from the harsh everyday life in slightly different surroundings. The YMCA (KFUM)is a Danish Christian association and usually it's an older married couple the receive only a symbolic pay.
We can enjoy our coffee here, have a good chat with colleagues or both.
They often make various events such as bingo. (Where you can win cakes)
Every night, at 9 pm, there is a reading from the Bible and a hymn for those who need it.
Now, when you are here, have a cup of coffee and a chat with some Danish soldiers or YMCA "mum" or "dad".
There is also a volleyball court. Now you count all the pillars, that surrounds the court.
The number of pillars is C.
Since there apparently is a new number of pillars here, you´ll get the figure to be used = 13!
Use this formula and move to the next location: N 31º50.x (x=((B*C*A)-83) E064º12.135.
Here I want you to stop for a while, and bow your head in respect for those who didn´t make it home from here. Not only for the Danes fallen, but for soldiers of all nationalities.
Bare to mind that faith can hit everyone of us, and carry on your journey.
Now look NE, you can see our PX, and our little infirmary.
Turn NW, and you are now looking toward our workshop-area. You can see the tents we are working in.
The smaller tents around you are all administration, depots and so on.
On your exact location there are some chains, count them, and you got D.
Use this formula and move to the final location:
N 31º 50.x (x=((A+C)*D*B) – (A*B*D)-C)-134)
E064º12.155. And you will find the cache.
When you go there you will have our logistic-area on you right hand side.
