Berdorf Climbing Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

John_Koenig: Hallo Eduards,

Geocache Description:

The sandstone rocks of Berdorf are well known in Europe and very much desired by climbers from all over the world because of the beauty of the climbing and the nature ! In summer and even during winter when snow falls the woods around Berdorf are fairytale-like. You can climb there all over the year. Only when it has been raining for more than 2 days or when the temperature gets below 5C the climbing becomes displeasing.

To find the cache itself no climbing equipment is necessary, but little scrambling over rocks will be required. Coordinates are taken in front of the crack that divides Isatis and Gentiane climbing sectors, 5-6 meters from actual cache location. You should go inside that crack and find your way ower the boulder that is stuck inside this crack. Right there in deepest part of the crack you will find cache container.

Take care!

Small note on cache maintenance: I am here several times a year, fellow geocacher daemondawn visits every six to eight weeks and will help if needed.
