Geocache Description:

This beautiful library, the Vernetta Smith Chehalis Timberland Library, opened in November of 2008. It was built primarily with donated money and is named in honor of the mother of former Chehalis resident Orin Smith. It is a Carnegie inspired building and replaces a Carnegie library that was built in 1910. The original library was badly damaged in the earthquake of April 1949. It was remodeled in 1950 but sadly, had to be demolished in 2007. Come in and enjoy the new Carnegie inspired library – tiled hip roof, brick faced, huge windows and dark wood interior trim. Nothing sterile here, like so many modern libraries can be. This space entices you to browse and relax in an overstuffed chair. The light fixtures and ceiling are reminiscent of days gone by. This new library, build on the principles of old world style, will charm you. After visiting this lovely building, take a moment for some lunch or just a pastry and a latte at A Taste of Eden. What a wonderful way to spend a few hours in Chehalis.

Please use stealth on this one as many eyes may be upon you.
The difficulty rating was increased just a bit due to the high possibility of muggle activity.
