This cache is placed near the cairn for the Pioneer German School SS #6 by the 2010 Grade 8 graduating class of Central Baptist Academy (with help from our geography/phys. ed. teacher, 13coach13).
The cache contains many school related items which remind us of our years together, plus a FTF prize.
There is room to pull off along the shoulder of the road.
Light bushwhacking may be required as you near the cache site.
We are proud to be the second graduating class from CBA to place a cache as a reminder of our years together, and to honour our class at graduation.
The original Pioneer German School was located at this site in 1842, rebuilt in 1874, and in 1958 the school was moved to it's current location and expanded over the years.
CBA purchased the surplus German School property, located just down the road, as a second campus for our growing student body back in 1980. It was known as CBA's North Campus. Many fond memories were made on that 13 acre campus over the years.
This campus has now been sold, and after 20 years of teaching at CBA, 13coach13 will not be returning. Since we may be the last graduating class to go geocaching, this historic spot seems like the perfect location for our cache.
Since this area holds sentimental value to many of us, we would like to thank Dex4 for graciously moving his long-standing cache (Pioneer Germans School SS # 6 - GCZG2H) from this area so we could place our cache here.
