Squamish Days Loggers Sports is one of the oldest festivals in Canada and it is still completely organized by volunteers. It takes place every year on the August long weekend. It originally started as a celebration of the opening of the highway to Vancouver and has continued for over 50 years.
Logging competitors come from all over the world to enter the world class competition.

This micro cache is found at the Al McIntosh Loggers Sports Grounds. You don’t have to enter the grounds to reach it. BYOP!!! Nothing in it but a log (the paper kind, not the wood kind)!
