Geocache Description:

This cache is in honor of my brother's birthday. Accessible by water only. The cache is just outside of a float camp area. For FTF, there is a Smokey Bear coin and a Mark Twain NF pin.

** NOTE Please get Permission BEFORE placing caches on the rivers. Thank you!!

It was impossible to be with my brother Steve on his birthday and I had the chance to canoe the Eleven Point river on the day celebrating his birth. So, the family helped me pack the cache in it's water proof container, see picture. While my brother is in the sunny state of Florida his cache is in the state of Missouri along the cool waters of this wild river. This river float camp is below Turner Access just past the two large bends in the river. At Horseshoe Bend float camp, there are camp sites with tables, campfire rings with grills and poles with lantern hooks and one pit toilet. It's not perfect after all it is along a river and rivers flood. There are steps up from the river to the campsite areas.
The cache is on a stringer around the base of a small tree. The cache is not visible, it is covered with leaves and sticks from the last flood. Lat 36 45'03.50440"N Long 91 14"30.68117"W ; I have permission to have this cache on Mark Twain National Forest. If you search the internet, there are maps out there on the river. Here's one... Enjoy, I'm just waiting to do maintenance.
