Burmars And GeoEriMarsh's Rail Trail Adventure Traditional Cache
Burmars: Well this cache had a few good years and the memories of placing this cache are still fond and fresh in my mind. It pains me to disable this cache since a great memory was associated with it but we're not in the area anymore and I can't realistically make the drive and hike to check on it so this cache is unfortunately going to have to be disabled. Thanks to all those who made the trek to find it and kept it going for nearly 7 years :)

On July, 1, 2010, Me (Burmars) and GeoEriMarsh decided to bike the Victoria Rail Trail from it's beginning in Uxbridge, Ontario to Literally our porch in Lindsay. Overall, it was a 43 kilometer bike ride! It was a lot of fun, although, I think me and GeoEriMarsh would have profited a little more out of it if we had eaten breakfast or packed a lunch! (Let that be a lesson to you!).
I rode along for the caching component and GeoEriMarsh always wanted to ride the Victoria Rail Trail From Uxbridge to Lindsay. While on our adventure, we thought it would be a good idea to prepare a cache and hide it wherever we saw a good spot. About 10 kilometers in, we found a great spot! Cache is a regular sized cammouflaged lock and lock container with a few trade items and a toonie for FTF. We also left a cotton plant seed in the cache upon placement for whoever wants it :)
I guess you could drive to GZ, although, I highly recommend biking the rail trail from the beginning. It was alot of fun and I enjoyed it very much (Until the end that is)! Just please, do us a favour. If you plan on doing what we did EAT breakfast and pack a lunch and some energy bars. I wish I had those when I was biking! Remember, Have fun and happy caching! :)
